We got off to a great start with all of the bear artists arriving with plenty of time to set up.
The venue for this show is lovely with lots of natural light coming through the glass walls.
At ten o'clock there weren't the queues there used to be at the shows in times gone by but none-the-less there were a few hardened collectors.
A lovely lady named Elizabeth who has been collecting bears for several years, was the first collector to enter "Bears on the Square" and was pleasantly surprised to receive a voucher for $100 to put towards the purchase of a bear. After a very close perusal of all the tables, she decided to buy one of Pauline Wong's brilliant little pandas.
The standard of bears at the show was very high and it was good to look around and to see such lovely work and also to catch up with a lot of artists and collectors who I haven't seen for several months.
The three 'Bergamin Boys', Fio, Jordan and Harrison, were worth their weight in gold, as usual! I must say THANK-YOU for ALL of their help and support.
A BIG thank-you also goes to Leah, Caitlan and Michelle for helping with minding tables and the entrance.
A big thank-you to Leah Viola for taking the photos.
